Radiata Pine

Radiata pine is a softwood that grows up to 10x faster than eucalypts. The timber is creamy yellow with distinct growth rings, and the grain is straight. This timber is relatively easy to work with and has a low natural durability.
Radiata pine has many different uses from furniture production to house frames and even peeled to make veneer and plywood.
